Hi guys

Just bought a rsv4 from a dealership. Noticed a small leak on the engine casing. Thought it could be the small o ring on oil feed as bolts need tightened a little.

As you can see oil on ridge.

After further investigation i noticed its coming out around where the  stator rubber meets the engine.

Very little of oil is escaping. Is the a concern🤔 I’ve done around 300 miles since I’ve had bike. I phoned dealership when i thought it was the small oil seal in the oil feed pipe. They then said it had a new rectifier, stator and flywheel fitted by them.

Will it be ok or should i get it fixed

Thanks Jimmy

Sounds like they've pinched the rubber seal then on reassembly

If it was me then I'd be wanting them to fix it properly asap.

Bloody stealers get away with murder if they're not held accountable.  If it's got a leak it's not right and needs fixing!

Straight back to the dealer I would say. They rely on inconvenience to get away with things as Ian says
