Good day.
I had and empty day so tackled the lubrication of the notorious shock linkages. The bearings for the rear dog bone to link plates and link plates to swingarm all had expected movement pre lubing and they're back together all good. But the front bolt connecting the frame to the dog bone has the bolt showing to be unable to be removed. With the nut removed and the exhaust downpipes partially out of the way, pushing on the nut side of the bolt to push it out moves it nowhere. This is with the rear dog bone bolt also removed so there's no rear wheel weight pulling or pushing. I can't quite attack the allen head with a socket piece and wobble bar but is it a case of an absolute need to unwind it or should it just push out? For reference with the dog bone disconnected at the rear end the bone rotates quite freely as expected. Last thing, is this strange hole looking thing in the cap normal? Looks abnormal but also a strange place for potential damage!
Cheers.

yes. I did a gen 1 and the thing just screws out, say 20mm of thread.
Then just easy drift out the bolt. The front one isn't the worst to get out,
the weather gets deflected away by the fairing. Just regrease and you should be good to go. The bolt to the swing arm on my bike was the dirtyest.
