Anyone know why the shiver might be surging at small throttle demands?
I have a fat duc fitted, and the bike has been ok until the last week when its surges whilst making small throttle changes. Its getting on my nerves now! I'm using the S setting, nice throttle, full power. The T setting really amplifies the effect. As said, its just started happening so I'll probably pull and clean every connector. As its one of those fly by throttle technologies.....no cable, I was wondering it it needs a throttle calibration like the V4s do, and if so....how do I do it??? Or is there something else I should be looking at? Its just been serviced and the air filter is clean. TmH

Have read quite a few people having sensor issues on Shiver/DD etc. Lambda, air pressure, map etc. Most have spotted it via Guzzidiag and monitoring the voltage readings and seeing them fluctuate wildly.
Usually no codes involved as a clue either.

Well. .had a look. Air temp sensor reading 33degC at 12 ambient and not changing. Just took the sensor off and measured it with a meter...its open circuit.
50 quid for a new one ffs! It's no bigger than my thumb! |

You tempted fate by saving so much on the rsv temp sensor. Be interesting to see what difference it makes to the running of the bike.
