I may have converted a mate to the aprilia side and he is looking at a 2018 v4 tuono, he would like to know if there is any issues with this model, I couldn't help him as I spent my v4 cash on an extension...bloody women!! LOL

Nope not really. From 16 on when they got their sh*t properly together with top end lubrication, mechanical problems have been few. There has been the odd tale of premature cam lobe wear but few and far between in the scheme of things. It’s a bike nearly 10 years into its development cycle by 2018 so the bugs are mostly ironed out.  As with most modern bikes with electronic gizmos all other the place, the most likely errors are electrically related.

what spoony says, solid as a rock, i think its the 09 to 12 are the hard avoid models, something to do with maitence and oil not covering internals correctly???

i just recently converted over to the RSV4 on a 17 plate and i rode every bike i could before parting with my cash, its just the bollocks.
