Looking for help on approx value for a pristine (and I mean pristine) Edwards Rep (less than 2,000 miles)?. It's even got it's original tyres from 2004 on (need changing!).

I don't need to sell it so it won't go unless it's good money but it's sitting in my garage not doing anything (cos I got another Eddy Rep tweaked just as I like it).

I'll give you £3:87 and a half eaten cheese and pickly sarnie. Just cos it hasn't done many miles and needs new tyres!

Hi mate,
They reckon that a mint 03 Eddy with low miles and a service book all stamped up could max at £6k and about £3800 for a not very mint, quite high mileage (15000+) so if yours is nice and straight with no silly bits like bling screen or coloured pro bolt bits etc and with a nice set of corsa or supercorsa's with that low miles ask £5500 and accept £4850.
I paid £4600 for mine in Nov12, not quite a mint service history, ie not all dealer but one done by Griff, 10850 miles, couple of small stone chips. Stick out for the money you want matey as there aren't many Eddie's anyway and if yours is as you say and not f d around with by some dickhead who has spoilt it, but it has been cherished, go for it.
If that was for sale when I got mine I would have given you £4850 for sure. Good luck with it. Why don't you put a piccie of both of your boys, so we can drool over them?
Nickyboy will perv over the AnKra's, so will I probably.

who reckons those prices? and yeh i  know rsvs quite well! , asking prices and achieving prices are often not always but often quite distant, i hope your correct cause that means my mint 2000rsvr 17k miles is worth at least 3.5 kWink

Well as in most cases the bike is only ever worth what someone will pay, if they really want it!
In any event having a very recent bit of direct experience here, having bought my Eddy back in late December 2012 from a well known and very reliable dealer, I paid circa £4600 for a virtually un-marked bike with FASH and 9k miles on the bike with one owner from new, + all receipts, all original parts, etc, etc.

So, in my opinion, for what it's worth, a bike which has less than 2k miles on the clock, in the condition as described, with all of the relevant 'bits & pieces', ought to go for somewhere around £5 - 5.25k.

For the person who REALLY wants it, I believe you should get close to this.
Enjoy the interest and I hope you get the price you want.
Good luck!!Thumbs Up

Photo's have already been on here viz;

http://www.rsvr.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=8510&KW=edwards&PID=52222&title=colin-edwards-reps#52222" rel="nofollow - click

It's the unmodified one number 265 - was clear screen one in photo, now got a tinted screen.

Thanks for the info re prices. It's not going for less than 5K - not with sub 2k on clock.

Even broken it would pull a decent sum (I would not break it however).

if,you can get a NERA for 8.5k and an SP for 7.5k then a mint EDWARDS must be 5k ?   And depending if it was sold on ebay and people chasing it ,could go for more.

For that particular bike I think he'll get min £4850 but if not in a hurry £5500. You're right, it's only worth what someone will pay at the time. Personally I would rather have the Eddy than, say, an early (04) Gen 2 factory. Just that bit more exclusive and special. IMO.

It is mate, just that guy has not used it. I could not have that bike and not use it to max.
It must break his heart to be selling it. Wonder what it'll make on the bay.
As I have said previously about your bike, can there really be a "book" price for it or his. It's supply and demand, surely.
The market will decide in the end and if someone really wants a mint mint+ ltd edition bike, they will pay top dollar to get it.
