Congratulations Clap

Although tbh I think a bike would have to be demonstrably falling apart to fail an Mot test.

I used to help test mine and while everything that should have been tested was done the whole experience took less than 15 mins. We always retired then for a drink and a chat while the computer ran down the next half hour until the designated time had expired.

To say I was surprised was an understatement Confused

The local main dealer I use now is anal about things and doesn't even let you watch so I've no idea what they get up to in their hi tec environment

Yes your correct in your reply , pretty good where myself and mates take ours . The Honda before mine failed on no rear brake at all and the owner knew about it ?????? The tester knows our bikes so a pass isn’t a surprise .

My local tester is another one of the good guys. Last year the horn was dodgy on my Tuono so I took the Honda down instead as it needed testing and I didn't want to waste the appointment. The tester told me to bring the Tuono down "as it might pass" , It did pass . My other VFR has a straight through full race exhaust fitted and I didn't want to take off the whole system and swap it for a legal one for the test. The tester said bring it in as it's his discretion if it passes or not. He pushed the bike into the test centre, closed the doors and 10 minutes later he came out with the Pass certificate, he never even started the bike .
The Tuono is due an MOT within the next few days, the horn still doesn't work properly but I think I'll chance it.
