can anyone recommend a good sturdy set of stands please,
id like to try the headstock front this time as i hate the under fork ones.

had some off ebay before and they were very flimsy and scary but cant remember the make so i can avoid them.

anyone using a good set that are still in production?
ghost bikes seem to have none of their black range left ffs.cheers guys

I have some R&G ones but they are under fork ones (pins) for the front. But I'd recommend them hugely. I also have a headstock style one that is good for most jobs but a faff for wheels on and off by comparison. I got that off eBay and is a German firm but I'm not so keen how they put pressure on the panels under the front fairing so I ended up with pipe lagging to prevent any possible damage

ABBA stand with front lift arm is the way to go. Maybe with standard style rear paddock stand for quick chain oiling etc.

sorry pic is on its side but no chance of scratching with the R&G pin type on these.

Also got the Abba and front lift for bigger jobs like suspension links or swingarm removals etc.

The rubber foot ones are naff I'd agree

I've got a abba stand which is brilliant. I'll probably get the front lift one sometime. Also got a micron paddock stand from way back in the day. However the abba stand is brilliant

the abba superbike stand with front lift is really good - stable, most stands are so wobbly you have fears your bike will fall over.

you just missed the discount - perhaps a call will get it

i had an abba on a previous mille but found it a bit awkward to put on,
maybe it was due to only having a bike shed back then with naff all room either side of the bike.
shame the discounts over,i saw it but have been umming n ahhhring last few days.
ive only so much cash left to buy an exhaust and get some stands.

i like the r&g fitment but theyre abit pricey each, looking at 140+ for front and rear.
may have to get a rear now and a front later.

Just get Harris ones, they are bit more than others but the are very good and your bike won't fall off.
I got mine from the bay of E's for £100 for the pair.

I use Harris stands, the under yoke stand is very sturdy and allows you to confidently remove the forks ect when required.

The other option is GeeTech stands by a lad called Gavin Williiams on Facebook. Very nice stands used by a few teams in BSB. He also does peg stands and spare wheel stands if youre feeling flush !

+1 Harris

I have the under fork ones too but I only use them for cleaning and tyre swaps, the Harris is fine, I think a 14mm pin but they'll perhaps tell you for sure.

they fit into the gen 2 right away but the gen 1 has to either have the plastic panel below the nose cone removed or altered to access the hole for the pin. At least that's the case on my CER

Constands have a good reputation but couldn't tell you if they fit.

think ill get that then, and the rear off them,i just wondered as theyre not width adjustable.
both are availabe in matte black with red wheels on the rear stand.
rear is a similar style to the harris.
2-4 days delivery to the u.k.

they also do one similar to the abba but cheaper and looks a bit less of a faff to fit in the video
