Hi,
Ive been around for years on AF1 forum, but thought it time to get in here too.
2nd Aprilia. 1st was a Falco, now a 04 Tuono R that I have turned it into my version of a Racing. Not as finished as I would like, but having a 4 year old boy kinda slowed down riding/tinkering.
Things I would like to get to complete it is a r/h link pipe for the 2 into 2 Akro system, also a carbon front guard. I may get to put the strips on the tank one day, who knows. I kind of like the blackness :)
So here is a pic.
My Beauty.

Welcome bud. Uploading pictures you'll either need to be an RSVR premium member to use the forum uploader, or use a picture hosting service - flickr works.

the old r/h link pipe saga still dragging on , ever thought about just getting a matching l+r custom made so you can fit the system?

I have had the system fitted for ages. Its just that it is scuffed from PO and every time I look at it I want it unscuffed........you know.
Of all the parts I have bought for my Aprilia`s, this one seems to be the most allusive.

But I will keep trying.

very nice bike, yes red it's the long belly pan, had one on mine and bought another new one off nickyboy with the track nose cone and then promptly sold it all to griff, don't know if he still has them or not. nearly forgot had a seat unit as well but no pod which griff has as well.

Welcome,

and as the others have said, top job on that bike. I've gone down a similar route with my own Tuono. I've changed that much that its a bit like a Racing or a Factory but its actually neither.

Redratbike, who is MHP ?
There was a guy who says he is a muffler/pipe specialist here who said he could fix it but Im afraid to let anyone at it in case they stuff it up, cos then im buggered !

Do do list includes,
Rear pegs to go on so I can fab up some racks to take my small Givi panniers.
Sargent seat.
Perhaps some Cyclops LED high beam globes.

Otherwise it`s all I need in a road bike.

I can vouch for the Sargent seat - brilliant bit of kit and all day long comfort. And to be honest, the original seat wasn't too bad really, but these ones are top notch.

Maybe one of the best upgrades I've done on the bike - and i've done a few Thumbs Up

Thank you Rick, for the kind words Embarrassed

Its getting to the point where I don't really want to change anything else - Im more or less happy with the looks of the bodywork although a Racing nose with white/red decals would be nice...LOL

I've seen some beautiful bikes appearing on here and on the FB page and all are a credit to their owners, either current or previous.

And can't wait to see your own Rick when that CF tank is sitting pride of place....Thumbs Up

Do you have the super rare race kit? Shocked

I got most of the pieces of the kit individually. Missing the carbon tail light cover. I also think the 2 into 2 is nicer. Gives good power and kind of balances the look of the bike better.
So tucked away in the shed is the racing front fairing and gear linkages for racing shift pattern.
