With bike new sales dropping off a cliff, low £ and brexit and few new motorcyclists and insurance prices rising because of police letting bikes being stolen , it's a perfect storm !

Claire Raynor had winglets.

Didn't make her much sexier did it Shocked ha ha LOL

I do like the idea in principle, and when I first saw the pics of the Ducati top fairing with similar appendages, made to get round the wing ban a while back, I liked it initially. As it's an area that deserves development. That's until I saw it race and when in perspective to the rest of the bike! Still, function over form and all that.

Are they missing a trick not to make them act as frame sliders/crash pads as well? Then insurance companies won't be writing bikes off for falling over and have more money to pay out for all the nicked ones?

Question everything.

I don't like the look of the winglets at all. I'm ok with them on a race bike if they are legal and improve the performance but they are totally unnecessary and frankly ugly on a road bike.

I thought it was just a place to keep your coffee cup whilst polishing

How many will aprilia sell ? Did they only sell 20 in the uk in 2017 ?
Ducati is beloved of rich celebrity bikers, so will sell....lots.

The side view's not too bad, but that front view.... Hey big ears..where's Noddy?

Worth remembering I suppose that the Gen 1 fairing ears and headlight were a bit Marmite back then.
