Hi,

Im looking for a Mille Sachs shock for my 2006 Tuono.

Are the Gen 1 shocks different from the Gen 2 ones?

Cheers,
John.

I believe they are different. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me can verify this though

Length is different but you can fit gen2 to gen1 so sure they can be swapped

Also rsv4 can fit

I recall reading that according to Maxton the early rsv's (probably 1999/2000?) had very short stroke shocks that only had 75mm of stroke.

I've never checked but I assume later versions had more stroke and linkages to suit.

The Spoon Valley Racing setup would seem to be the ultimate incarnation if you don't have to cater for passengers.

With the gen1 linkage or would it require gen2? Would gen2 linkage fit in gen1 Swingarm?

I´m looking for a better shock to my gen1 Tuono and would like to find out what options I have...

other wise it would be to low and the linkage would it.

With a gen1 shock?

Hmm... What 2n2 sytem is it? My Tuono have a Akra 2n2 but I still have the stock linkage. Never thought it would hit the system...maybe I should have a look Smile
