Having done 1500 miles on the new beast I have to say, its totally addictive.
Majority of that is in the winter, crap roads, no grip, occasional wet days, but lots learnt.
So far I've had the ECU Gabro'd to match the Ackro pipe. Used motoguzzi software to to the throttle learning thing.
Bike came with ALL the R&G bling attached, adjustable high bars/clipons, crash mushrooms, engine covers...awesome.
Its got carbon fibre everything added.
What I did not like, was the side stand, so ordered and now fitted the USA version, which is WAY better. Easy fit too. I've bought the officail touring screen as the other 2 after market ones I found were not very good....only trouble with the Aprilia screen is it comes as clear....not smoked.
Its also got god aweful Avon tyres that spin up all the time....ginger riding.
What it needs for spring is a new chain/sprocket and new tyres....and If I can work out how to, some nice new HIDs. I tried LEDs, but they ended up too long and fouled the head light lamp cover, and the forks.
I have to say though, the bike is bonkers, it really is. I cant believe you can get these legally!
What do I think of the APRC? Its interesting, but it does dilute the ride a little....but it is good, really good on the lower settings. I did have it switch off after a botched recalibration.....man that was an accidental grin factor right there.......the bike became ALIVE, and responded like me RSV Fac....proper rider control and no rider aids.......not sure its appreciated on damp roads running on Avons......so its back on.
If anyone is thinking about the TV4.....dont think.....just get. You will not be unhappy.
