How many posts have you made, think you need minimum of ten before you can advertise.

Hi,  when you say posts, do you mean new topics or posts to a topic?   as i have been messaging most of the evening, so well over ten.  And added bike pic to the bike gallery forum, but cant add a second pic now for some reason ?
Cheers

There is no restriction on adding pictures to posts but you will have to upload the pics to an external host like photobucket etc and then insert them into your posts. Only premium members can use the forums own internal web space to upload pics too.

Premium just lets you host them here. If your browser is having an issue adding them that won't change. If your doing it on a mobile device, try a pc as mobile browsers can have issues or switch to the classic mode on the mobile version of the site

I added the pic to the bike forum ok.  But doing it the same way on the for sale forum it shows incorrect path now.   This is through photobucket as i did ealrier tonight the same way!   Is it down to not enough posts still ?    As i got the advert on, but no pics, so bit frustrating....

Sorry if its me..

Rob

I added your pic to your for sale ad for you. I suspect your url had http at the beginning which you don't need as the site adds that for you automatically. If your url has it too then it gets added twice and then comes up as a bad url  (http//http// etc)

That is a software bug Mark that Web wiz are looking into. You should get a progress bar for the upload but it fails to display. It doesn't stop the upload though.

this is the error code it show and if people see it they may cancel rather than waiting

How irritating is it to have to post 10 times before being able to advertise

Morning All,

sorry I'm new to the site and still trying to find my way around it, I wanted to put a post in this section asking if anyone has a rear seat for sale but It said I don't have permission?  I then thought the answer would in the rules but the thread is here but with no rules in.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

John

There are no restrictions at all for the wanted or swap sections but for sale requires 10 posts min unless you’re a premium member.
