Getting an 01 RSVR soon as Im selling my Blackbird as I no longer need it to commute.

Its the early single seat model so how hard is it to convert to pillion use for the odd occasion the missus or lad will want to come out?

Looking forward to picking your brains as I always join owners forums when getting  a new bike.

Anything I should look at specifically before picking it up?

Hi,

about to convert my bike...been told approx 3 hours work.

you need a twin seat subframe, rear footpegs, and of course a pillion seat

i,ve been lucky on ebay...99p for the pegs,£22 for the subframe...but no pillion seat yet

good luck

Well picked her up last Wednesday and rode home in the PI##ing rain on a mates trade plate. Paid £3400 for it

Still havent got my insurance through yet so cant tax her.

I bought an 02 RSVR with 4.5K miles (been Sorn for 3 years) in the end and it had the pillion seat included as well as the Aprilia Ti can and chip already fitted.
