There on my own Dog 78 was aiming to do it with me but bike not ready and other commitments.
No go pro's allowed as live air field so pic's will be difficult.

They fly big choppers there don't they? I suppose security will be very tight everywhere these days,at RAF Valley it was very relaxed about GoPro's even when Prince William was based there.
There was even a wild rumour him and Harry would have their bikes out on track with us but it never happened,at least to my knowledge, although they could have done a few laps incognito I suppose. Not quite the same as trackdays given that airfields are usually flat and wide but the tarmac sure is grippy |

Had a good day till i nearly high sided back lost grip then griped had me out the seat then tank slapped. took it down a notch or to after that, next session cement dust where it happened so that explained it.
Chinook's based there Ian Go pro's banned because they have a habit of falling off on the 150mph straight and they don't want a chinook sucking bits of one up into engine.

Ah,Valley flies fast jet trainers and they have a big anti FOD campaign when we go there.
Although it's more damage to the runway /airfield furniture that gets us into trouble usually. Apparently runway/taxiway lights don't come cheap |
