Anyone planning a ride way up north and want to meet up I’m itching to hit the road with some likeminded Aprilia riders!
If you haven’t ridden up here you should the roads are amazing! Can get in to the twisties about 2 miles from my house and then of course there’s the NC500 which is great if you like blowing past camper vans on the back wheel! Of course I don’t condone that kind of behaviour or take part in it but I don’t mind if you do! |

I spent 2½ years at Kinloss when I was in the Air Force in the late 70's; brilliant roads and a lot less traffic then.
Pity they started advertising the 500 coastal route that attracts all those goddamn motor homes and caravans.
Been up to the West coast a few times on hols in the car but must get back up on the bike some day, just the unpredictable weather putting me off. |

People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

If the timing is right there is still the possibility that griff could do a service day up with me again and we could use that as a gathering day . There was a good turn outlast year

Bump back to the top -
I have several lads in the Aberdeen area keen for a service day - I can host again - if there are others that are possibly interested then get calling to eh shop as It is getting tight for me to be able to change / organize my rota to suit . Griff I am not sure if anyone has called through to organize with you yet but as far as I know there has been no interest this year for a Northern trip . (provisionally the First full week in June was the target for the service day - discussed a couple of months ago )

There was a Scotland service day a couple of weeks ago at Andy's place. I think Griff may be coming back as the second day got snowed off.
