Well had Dun Sportsmart 3 fitted to front yesterday to match rear fitted 2 months ago, my god you just don’t realise how sharp a new tyre is, took it careful for a few miles and then really pushed it along , it seems so much more lighter and takes less effort to corner, just shows how over time a tyre flattens /
squares off without you noticing, happy boy .

Yep, new tyres are indeed a joyous day! At least once they are scrubbed in and you can use them with confidence. |

Pro tip: Go round a few the wrong way to scrub in the other side of your tyre.

I find that weaving at a slow constant speed and light constant throttle with increasing lean angles can get it done quickly. Careful not to accelerate while doing this! Remember that slow corners always need more lean angle than fast ones. |

When having tyre fitted the fitter said Dun sportsmarts are the least popular and the Brdgesrone S 22 the most popular

Well, I fitted S22's in April if that means anything. My front was knackered and I managed to sell the half worn rear for £30 on ebay which helped pay for the new ones. I thought that was a bit of a result! |

Just had my new S22’s dropped onto my BST wheels off my Gen2.
Once the rain stops I’m going to put them on my 2020 Tuono. Apparently a direct fit on the front wheel, but with a possible 1mm washer required under the abs ring and subsequent one under the speedo/abs pick up sensor to keep the spacing accurate on the rear wheel. All wheel alignment and widths exactly the same. Then I may get around to trying the new tyres and compare to the Pirelli’s 👍🏻
