Lucky you.

The stock can on the later bikes is not so bad but on the earlier ones it was HUGE !

Lots of trick bits for v4's about. The Akra can is my fav for that bike. Not too loud and just seem to suit the lines of the bike.

The Showa forks work as well as the Oem Ohlins for the road. The Ohlins have a little stiffer damping which is a bonus on the track but the difference isn't huge.

The Showa's I run now on my Ducati I prefer to the Ohlins of my Aprilia from a general ride quality point of view. No doubting the yum yum factor of the Ohlins but as an oem fork they are built to a price just like the Showa's.

You can get an proper Ohlins cartridge kit to for the Showa's should you feel you want more. Not cheap but a step up in quality.

Be interested to see that exhaust.

That will be right, it's the takeaway capital of the area.

As they say - a small world. My dad is from Ovingham originallly. If you get back up here there's a nice hot cuppa waiting for you.

I've got a 2001 RSVR. She needs some TLC as been off the road a few years due to divorce etc but working on her at the moment and plan to be out an about this year.

Should plan a meet later on although no chance me keeping up with you. Also found another guy on here from Widdrington with a modded Gen 1. See here:
