I think more than a few people on here would have been tempted by that when it was posted, it does look like a fantastic example.

Im well chuffed with it after seeing it... ..
Kept going back to the advert and I knew I'd be, more or less, driving past it on the way home today so it was just fate I think... . I think the fettling bug is kicking in again already though, I keep thinking of new calipers, quick action throttles , new tyres, quickshifter.... oh nooooooπ..... |

I was looking at some of those the other day actually and thought how nice they looked... do brembo do any decent calipers for these though Hemi? Just ordered some SBS race sinter pads for now, oh and a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket |

Not sure about brembo but nissin are a popular upgrade but I can vouch for the billets as I had the big6's on my exup and they were great. Thought about the gearing on mine but with the speedo reading off the front sprocket I didn't bother.

This has got 4 pot Nissins on it already and he's put an Rsv radial master on it so it may be decent anyway once I get the sbs pads in...think it'll still get upgraded in time though . Yeh, I did think about the Speedo reading out but when I did it on my TL it only over read by a little bit and at least it reads over, not under, ill keep you posted on exactly how muchπ |

Certainly be better than the tokico 6 pots, when you have been used to good brakes it's a bit of an eye opener going back.

You've been busy in my absence Adam! Sweet machine there buddy but surely you're just being greedy having two bikes with carbon hoops. I think you should sell me the ones off the T for some rib eye steaks and a case of Heineken otherwise you won't notice the benefits of them.
I loved my old kwaka but she was fairly standard apart from a very nice micron race system they sound incredible you've got a great buy there mate. |

Haha, you were next on my list to tell Ad ...its been a hectic week and then this happened on top so a good end to it . I think it was you getting excited about the new Ape infected me and when I saw this ...well, I don't need a lot of persuading at the best of times, haha. I'm going to chuck the set of race attacks that ive got at home (for the T but it doesn't need them quite yet)on it when I get a minute and then get scratching π. How's the new Ape coming along buddy ? |

Oh to be able to indulge oneself without having to justify it
Nice bike Although my Mrs would probably say I DO indulge myself constantly without justification Your old forks are now modded and fitted to my T now by the way |

Sure did
I modded the rebound stack using some of the shims from Nickyboy's old forks. Not perfect yet but a definite improvement. Now have confidence enough to push as hard as on the Mille which is a bit worrying as I don't hang of the T yet |

Yes buddy, picked it up this morning , got it home and gave it a decent clean up....what is it with people and chain lube .... hehe, also found a couple of cracks in a footpeg but ive managed to modify that so it's strong enough for this weekend and there's a couple of new pegs on their way, so overall im.well chuffed... gotta get the forks away at some point though, they're like a bouncy castle when you sit on it , so think they'll be getting a k-tech revalve when I get time and funds and the brakes are nowhere near as bad as I thought they would be....and i have to say, it can hustle pretty good for a big old birdπ |

I was a bit unsure when I first rode it back, so used to my T and its been modified so much over the last 5 years to fit me perfectly that it just felt soooo alien... but dropping the rearsets down, increasing the span of the brake lever, whipping the baffle out of the exhaust and taking the tank cover off and it came to me quicker than I thought it would ... still a way to go before I feel it's really "my" bike , like the T, but it'll get there... |

Every time I switch between my rsv and 9 I have to take a few minutes to readjust as the rsv is so slim and the 9 wide and my rsv has great midrange and the 9 you have to rev hard. My 9 has a rear Ohlins and front Ohlins springs and Kais set it up and it really does handle well especially with the new rims so I can guarantee yours won't be far away.

Once I'd done a few miles i was surprised at how good it was to be fair , even with the bouncy forks ...im going to have a little tweak with the settings tomorrow to see if i can firm it up a tad for now and ive been looking at the bike hps fork upgrade, complete refurb with k-tech valves and springs, but I'll email BG Motorsport(my local ohlins centre)and see what price they give me for doing the same ... it's certainly a good bike waiting to come out though and I think it'll be a bit of a sleeper on trackdays once it's sorted |

How do Rick. After giving them a good clean today, as nice as they are, I have to say that,in my humble opinion, BST's are a better finished wheel than the Dymag's... They're good, there's just a few little areas, joins in the carbon etc, that make the BST's just look a more premium product ...so if it were me, choosing between the two, I'd choose the BST's... |
