Well got some work done on the bike today in between the rain showers but generally pleased, but engine turns but didn't fire, will put some fresh fuel tomoz and fingers crossed will start, couple of pic's with new wheels on
Got my new headlift paddock stand is good, although had to make a spacer on the lathe so the lift pin would fit Cheers |

WoW they look sweet as fook Mate, they were one of the best performance mods I've done to my bike, the difference in handling is amazing!

Stone me that looks nice. That chap is painting his in white colours with the plastic dip stuff. Almost as if he saw yours.
Nice. Don't they look like startled rabbits with the mirrors up? |

Cheers for the comments guys, woke up in middle of night knowing why the bike wouldn't start, hooked the pc3 up to the positive battery terminal and not the negative, then had to wait and see till half 9 and hopefully not cooked it, but quick swap over and fresh fuel..........boom started straight away happy now apart from rear brake is rubbish, next job to do then mot, tax and some spirited riding after the tyres are scrubbed in

Does look loads better with the oz wheels compared to the brembo's, got the rear wheel about 4-5 years ago and left it at my perents house, only managed to get a front wheel last year, so with some fresh rubber will hopefully be a good summer, but white does suit these bikes when I first did it wasn't too sure thought it was a bit too much and not much brake up of colour then belly pan tail unit in black with carbon infills and front mud guard sorted that out just need a carbon hugger, pazzo levers, weighted bar ends.....the list goes on
Cheers |

Looks lovely mate! Doing similar mods at the moment to mine. Just be carefull when removing rear hugger for carbon one. I didn't use heat as suggested on here and one of the bolts snapped off in swing arm. Right pain to drill out!.

Fitz, that's proper mate, well done
I didn't want to hijack your thread so have posted a thread in general about white bikes. I love them, and the Mille suits white, and the blue wheels go perfect too. |

Happy days! Couple of items you'll need, if you haven't done them yet. Blue locktite thread lock. Small black cable ties. A syringe and some flexible tube to purge the brake system. Some flat bar 12-15mm wide1.5mm thick to make some fairing brackets. A soldering iron and some shrink wrap. Cable wrap protection tube (optional). HRC RESERVOIR KIT (a sexy pipe) Some 8mm stainless bolts to locate said brackets! Lots of tea and something comfy to sit on!! They are awesome and so worth it! |

I'll have you know that I actually mocked up the black/white paint scheme back in January 2012 (admittedly some 18 months before I actually got round to buying the bike! lolz), 4 months before the OP posted this thread and piccies. Take a look at the date created of the mock up: Have to say though that great minds do indeed think alike There's a fine line between leaving it "too" white (and it looks like it's in primer or just gel-coated track fairings) and actually making the white work. The little stickers on the fairings/tank do just enough to break up the otherwise solid white.

It's alright Jim great minds do think alike, had this planned in 2011 just had to wait for the winter 'off season' to complete my master plan
Does look a lot better than the yellow/silver. Good luck with yours though mate |
