Looks great! What's the gold-coloured button to the left of the horn?

thats the TCS control paddle the opposite side has a minus so you can adjust your traction on the fly corner to corner.

please do if you get the chance, or if we meet one day please have a pop on this one.
i did test ride a 09 f4 1000  and a 2018 s1000r - i am biased towards ape but i have owned a few different brands and still do but this just fit me right, im 5 11 with a bit of a covid gut but it fit me like a glove, plus from 4 hours of riding the other day no aches or pains and most importantly no well done legs or nuts.

Check your clutch cable adjustment for one.

Also what setting is it on? Road , race or track?

Road I found was hesitant and soft with pick up off the clutch compared to an instant go on the race setting.

i don't have road, i have race, track and sport, i think sport must be the softest setting.

Try race if you don’t already. See if you notice a crisper more responsive throttle.
Admittedly mines a Tuono but I can notice less precision is required to pull away.

wigg i have no idea what race does on a tuono but on this it was like full insane, back to sport for the time being hahah

i was out for 4 hours and i really got a proper ride in just solo seeing what this bad boy is all about, thankful to not be out on a ducati loosing sperm count TongueTongue
but seriously it doesent even get hot. first gear is absolute bonkers and shifting up while holding the throttle wide open with no clutch will never get old.

anyway taking in the sights.

and to report on the pista GP RR - it really is something else, wore it the entire time and it just feels weightless im using lazer lite plugs and i cant hear a thing, not even this tasty V4 - it was hard to change from the RX7V after 15 years i got my first rx7 in 2005 and worn one since with other arais - this helmet is just a cut above would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new lid.

cheeky selfie

Haha

Yeah it has a similar effect on the Tuono but 40 horsepower less so I can imagine yours is a step beyond 😂

Looks mega weather where you are. Fantastic pics

Another update on the RF, my Healtech device gets here on friday so i have decided to chuck the yoshi on got a few pics of it, it took ages to arrive and i think it will be quite rare to see a yoshi on an Aprilia.

exhaust install went smooth as glass, getting the flapper cables through and out was the hardest part, healtech works just fine, no warning or check engine lights.

it goes without saying but, Jesus Christ this sounds good.

Tail tidy finally done, had it sat in the box since April ffs. thanks for letting me pick your brain wigg, honestly once i cut the rear plate light off it become a lot clearer and using the crimps with bullet connectors wasn't as a daunting task as i had initially thought

i think the bike looks 10x better without the stock can and 10 ton of plastic hanging out the back.

Yeah it is, I went through so many horror stories over changing the exhaust one call to my local Aprilia and the mechanic I talked to burst out laughing when I repeated some of the stuff I have read online about exhausts on the 17+ bikes. I'm really happy with how it looks and I don't think I will do much else to it.

Simply Gorgeous!  Thumbs Up

What is the riding position like compared to Gen1 / Gen2? I've sat on them in the showroom but everything feels ok for two minutes.

Absolutely stunning bikes, I seriously wanted one when they were launched until I sat on one, they feel about the same size as a 125 sadly or its because I’ve always been used to big barges, the sound with a nice pipe on is fantastic.

It feels like a really really small 600, the gen 1 and 2 are twice the size or so it seems. The rsv4 feels a lot like the Audi ducatis starting with the 1199. You get on and everything is close, I find it more comfortable than a gen 2 on long rides as it's not a long reach.
