I'm looking at sorting the side stand, as its pants....so can anyone lead me towards a good replacement?

Also, what other stuff has been done? Anyone attempted HID yet as I notice lights are crap.!!

Thanks!

Found the sidestand, AF sell them in the US, so got one on order now.
Also ordered the Abba adapter and a R&G rad guard.  The bike is already covered in R&G stuff, clutch and gen covers, end weights, spidle bobbins and frame bobbins, also a tail tidy and clip on bar set......pretty impressed with previous owners, bike is in good fettle.

Had some fun on it tonight on way into work......its a beast for sure, had me smiling the whole way!  The Tiger 1050 before it was just a ride......the difference between a night out on the booze then picking up a fat lass, or picking up a fit girl from the gym who has energy'a'plenty.

Bonkers if you want it to be....its a great bike.

RSV or V4R?

RSV gen 2, stand isn't long enough.  Easy fix, weld a 10mm plate to the bottom of the stand, job done.

V4R the euro/UK side stand is too long, and very straight! On level ground you have to watch where you park it as a fart can blow it over....it gets much worse as the rear tyre wears too.  The US market has a different stand, that puts the contact further away from the bike and allows the bike more lean.

Sorry its a bit of a late reply, havent been on the forum for a little while Thumbs Down

Ive bought a US side stand from af1 just remember you will get hit by import tax but the stand is 10 times better.

Other mods I have done

RSV4 Tail end
Puig screen
ASV short levers
HP Course exhaust
Headlight protectors

Mods currently under way during winter are

RSV4 upper injectors
RSV4 variable velocity stacks
RSV4 wiring loom
RSV4 air filter
Full Austin Racing GP2R system
Secondary air removal
Power commander 5 with secondary fueling modal
RSV4 belly pan
Flashed ECU and clocks
Start swapping all bolts for stainless and titanium
Samco hoses

Some ideas for you hopefully, I love my Tuono its a grinning machine Wink

In regards to lights, I fitted a pair of Philips H7 HID effect bulbs (Ill double check next week when I get home) but made a huge difference, even with light tinted protectors on they are very bright
