On my RSVR 55plate located between the seat and pillion seat under the plastics I've found what appears to be an oxygen sensor. There isn't a lot of slack for it to move far from the location at all. Photos to follow later. It's not plugged in anywhere, anyone now if it should be?????

impossible to say without seeing it. There is an atmos press sensor just behind the batt but nothing else 02 related generally anywhere near there. The atmos sensor is monitored by the diags so were it not plugged in the efi warning would be on the dash I suspect.

Just on the school run will post pictures in half hour. Think your right though. Just seems a weird sensor as it has a rubber seal if it's not going into anything

ATM pressure sensor. Should be bolted to the tray near the ecu. Looks like it's wired in ok still.

just bolts to the tray as is. The rubber seal is there because the part is common to the front air duct to measure intake pressure. in the nose it pushes into a hole in the ducting which needs to seal up or air pressure would leak past it.
In the tray it's just measuring ambient air pressure to correct for altitude etc so doesn't need to be sealed up. |
