As you know I hate Dunlop's well I did.
Being running corsas all year until I couldn't get a set 
So I had to get a set of Dunlop's gps off my mate who races will his lad
180/60 on back.
Did first session on my old corsas still good bit worn though so
Had to get them changed at track because of late pick up getting the Dunlop's.
He put 26 psi in front 18 to 20 psi in back  cold I thought really so I went with it was like a water bed for 2 Laps but after that bloody hell stuck like sh*t to a blanket. 
Wow so on other thread about setting up bike for tyre's it's probably 90% your pressure no way as run that low on corsas was talking to bloke a while he also said there's a new tyre come out metsezer full slick just for track which you don't need warmers for 245 quid a per.
But wow I could not believe it the difference from last time I tried dropping pressure before but not that low what I eye opener
So yeah I like the new gp Dunlop's bloody good tyre

Yes Mark, I think some of the TT boys were using road legal GP pro's.

The lowest pressure on the rear (set cold) is 1.2 bar, which is 17.4 psi. Shocked

CompK they are like a baldy MM7rr and I find them ideal for me.. no
extra expense for warmers .. two laps and they are good tae go (Knockhill)
I did use them in damp conditions at Croft and they were ok but that`s
ME .. old and slow .. I never absolutely endorse tyres to anyone `cause
they are such an individual issue .. but if you are novice/inter and
want to try a "slick" at a good price .. worth a go .. if you are fast/race
pace .. try and talk to someone who has used them at that pace.. `cause
I hav`nt ..

I've been using GP Racers since last year and was initially amazed at Dunlop's pressure recommendation but as stated above it does work and work very well, as a previous supercorsa user (SC version) I personally can't split them for dry grip not sure about wet grip but I'd assume both are equally poor (as you'd expect from track focused tyres).
The main difference I've found is if you use the Dunlop's on the road they don't last, the Mille really batters rears, I know longevity isn't a priority in this section of the market but we still have to buy the bloody things and the fact is Supercorcsas to last much better, not a factor if you are track only but is worth considering if you do both. 
 Dunlop have just brought out the Sportsmart TT which is meant to bridge the gap between road legal track tyres and sports road tyres, they feature the same Ntec construction found on the GPs  (this is what allows the lowering of pressures) although Dunlop say lowering pressure is only for track use but if it works on track is should also work on the road, I think it's their way of getting round offering differing pressure advise from the bike manufacturer. Not sure if they are any good but I'll be finding out real soon,  my rear D212 is knackered I've just ordered a pair. I'll be fitting them on Sat so watch this space

reason you can get away with lower pressure on dunlops as sidewall is really stiff construction compared to metzeler

That's a fact,not long after I had my first set I was talking to a rider at the Mallory Triumph fest and he was telling me he normally fitted his own tyres at home but the Ntec SportSmarts were that stiff he had to take them to a pro fitter.

Some of the tyres I've seen unmounted have flexed and collapsed like a used condom,those Dunlops are proper kit Wink

But like you say,Milles chew through them pretty quick,not as quick as Bridgy RS10's though,those things will get eaten for breakfast on the rear.  Brilliant on the front though,I think the best I've ridden on so far

that's not really what i wanted to hear, I've just fitted some RS10s !! I had intended to stay with Dunlop and try the sportsmart TTs  but my supplier didn't have a W rated front which would have meant waiting a few days to get one, I thought about just fitting the rear ( I figured it would be OK with the sportmax GP racer front) but they offered me a pr of Rs10s at a very good price so I want for them, I was hoping to get a few more miles out of these compared to the Dunlops oh well this is the price you pay for soft tyres. 
Apart from putting a few miles on the RS10s to run them in I haven't used them in anger so I couldn't say if they are better or worse than the Dunlops but what I have noticed is the rear is physically smaller than the Dunlop, it's noticeably narrower, you'd think all 180/55s  would be broadly the same but actual  size seems to vary quite a bit across the different brands.

Tyres can vary quite a bit size for size across different makes,it is getting better though,years ago the difference could be more than a stated sizeShocked

I really rated the RS10's, I killed my last rear on track but I think that may have been a replacement anyway,I know I still have the original front still on there.

I started to have doubts about Dunlops when the SportSmart 2's arrived,the originals were epic but the 2's had a very skinny,rounded front profile which I didn't like so I went Bridgestone when I needed a new rear.

I had that almost new front hanging on my garage wall for a couple of years until I bought the Tuono and needed to replace the tyres on that.   I decided for road use I'd throw that on and just buy a matching rear.

I wouldn't track a set of 2's again though after running out of rubber on the front and lowsiding at some speed.  Ouch
