I left home this morning, the next door neighbour was just ahead of me in her Landy. She moved over to let me past down our narrow lane and just as i cleared her  the back wheel  hit a patch of diesel and  the rear spun up the bike started to weave and then gripped ,the bars were flapping and my feet came off of the pegs.  6' dry stone wall one side, barbed wire and 10' drop t'other, now on the wrong side of the road with a mercedes coming !

There is a God, 'cos  he pulled me through it and i got straight and got my feet up. Stopped and checked the tyre, came home tonight and there has been another spill but this one has been covered with sand, if i find the twat that's doing it ..................

Well done mate , sounds like you reacted well to the situation. This season will be a test for us all I think, the roads round my way (Worcestershire) are in a right state potholes, shale and deep wounds all over the place, fast riding will require a great deal more concentration than usual me thinks, adding a diesel spill to the mix would certainly get my attention at speed.
