Depends what you want to do. It does basic stuff like read and clear fault codes etc. Works on the V2's as well. Make sure you get the batt leads right, if you accidentally connect them reversed it can blow the earth circuit in the ecu.

Yeah, reading and clearing fault codes was one of the reasons for getting this. I don't know if I would need them to do anything else,i'm a v4 virgin and ain't got a clue yet but if it helps to identify any issues should they arise then it could save a few quid. I'm in Scotland so no easy access to Griff and Co.
