Sorry bud me bein dim and not checking what I wrote up..............
Yes the headlight mod is because when I bought the bike some muppet (i think) had ripped out an alrm and left the wires in a right mess so the main/dipped beam swith did not work............. Got a later switch off another forum member that had no switch at all and so the that mod is to wire in a switch to turn the headlights off/on to preserve batt/channel full batt power when starting!!! Gixxer was an pressie from GF it is very clean but has a couple o' probs that need sorting to see it right. I have replaced the original rotten headers with stainless microns ...........nightmare of a job they were all rusted in and no access so took it all apart and had the head sent off to machine out the 4 original snapped manifold bolts!!!!!!! Jobs to complete are new oil head oil return rubbers as 1 got pinched on rebuild and 1 fork oil seal needs doin...................but overall a real nice tidy 91 GSXR750M not sure what to do with it once sorted as some peeps tell me its an appreciating classic as most have been streetfightered or sell it???

Whatever you do, if you have any more stickers you feel you need to use- put them on the mille NOT THE GIXXER!!!

Only that they look better without lots of stickers on dude!!! If you want to go crazy with stickers you've already started on the mille so it can't be saved but please don't do the gixxer too!!
Interestingly there was lots of articles on various gixxers in Practical Sportsbike this month so you'll probably see demand rise.... I love the look of the old gixxers and i know someone who has the same model as yours. Great bikes. |

Don't take offense I'm just not a fan of stickers full stop. Only place on my bike there's any stickers is on the windscreen where they can be easily removed. And a '58' on the tail which will never be removed. Its an attitude which gas upset people before so apologies in advance, each to their own

Dude the more stickers I put on it the less chance me paintworks gonna get scratched!!!
Went riding this weekend both days and found 2 extra scratches AAAARGGHH..... I'm 37 and not bothered what other peeps think of the bike they can't see no stickers when they's lookin at my dust anyways And no the gixxer is gonna be left as is, but I gotta decide really what I want to do with it cos once its all done it can either be a fine weather sunday ride or pack it up and keep for 20 years not sure whaddya reckon?? Personally I'm thinking future classic keep it under wraps.................
