wrong colours, wrong spelling, poor plastics. Some chinese fairings are better than others !

So apart from poor plastics, they break very easily. Wrong colours and bad spelling they are great !

You have to make sure the chinese fairing is what you need. Ebay will just walk away leaving YOU with a substandard
product.

+1 .. I`ve only ever seen 04-on kits from the east ..
if anyones looking for naked race kits for 98-03 I can vouch for A16 ..
I gave them a good pasting and they survived .. come with the dzus
clips as well

Yes those are gen 1. Trouble is, that the 98-00 fairings have a different shape headlight than the 01-03. Those say they're for 98-03, so be careful to make sure it fits your year, if you go for a set.

Nick/AF1's comment on quality is worth bearing in mind.

Question everything.

I would bet on them being 01-03

Tank is different as are the underseat panels and the rear light and saddles

I bought a crash damaged zx9r c model and was rebuilding it from spares I had when a friend said he wanted it, he bought a Chinese fairing and the plastic is about half the thickness of the original, it fitted reasonably well but we had to finish drilling half the holes out ourselves and the paint finish is just about acceptable for what you are paying.
