Hi folks,
Seeing as I've got the Aprilia mille bug and own two of them I thought it was about time I joined a forum.
As someone who rode an RSVR in the late nineties and just didn't see the attraction I can't believe I've got hooked on these bleeding things.
I bought a 2001 RSVR about 3 years ago just as a cheap bike after selling my Fireblade and was just looking for something that I could thrash and use the power available only to find that I was quicker on it and it was far more addictive.
So now I've recently bought a 2001 RSVR race bike that the original owner (who's a friend) built it here in NZ and spent a bloody fortune on before selling it a couple of years ago, after offering it me at the time but I didn't have the funds so it got sold down to the South island.
Well it must be fate as it came back up for sale and this time I made sure I got it.
Here's the list of extra's on it:
2003 Edwards motor
Full twin pipe Akrapovic system
57mm throttle bodies with carbon airbox
Power commander
USA shark skin fairings
Roby Moto rearsets and quick shifter.
Will post some pictures soon.

Life is not a problem to be solved, it is an adventure to be lived.

Yeah live in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. When you've spent 37 yrs living in Wolverhampton this was quite a change but a good one at that. Been here nearly 12yrs so have citizenship so they can't kick me out now.
I think the population of both islands combined is about 4.7 million now which when you think that NZ has a similar land mass to the UK you realize how lucky you are, when you drive down the South island you think there's no bugger there!LOL
