here are a couple of tips i think are worth considering
I found that the tank front mount is simply a tapping with no insert this makes it so vulnerable in fact my bolts pulled the threads out on one of them because the bolts are too short. I made two studs screwed them in with thread lock and fitted two domed nuts on top. It's worth carrying a short length of electrical cable with two male spade terminals blue size, in the event your fans fail you can bypass either at fuse box lower relay two connectors left side or pull off left seat panel and pull the two wires off fan switch and connect to wires I imagine you can bypass your side stand switch as well The o2 plugs rust in and I found that although gold grease is good for 1400c it's useless after a couple of runs mine carboned in I have now used ceramic grease good for same temp and at min fine, it's so good I'm probably going to use it in place of gold for most things. I did a broken spring on my car last year and it broke it again this year in a fokin big pothole anyway although all rebuilt with gold grease you would never know it was all rusted fokin solid Throw away all those fokin crimp hose fittings and opt for stainless jubilee clips much easier for maintenance I fitted a air box kit and noticed my throttle body plates screws were loose worth a wee tweek when you service I hope these help
