You might possibly want to consider a V4 unit with integral res if going rear set route, or a 'blade,'duc 1098 unit if keeping standard location as I believe people have used them as upgrades to the OE unit.
If I had to change my standard unit I think I'd consider the possibility rather than the same old crap that's prone to heat soak |

I pretty sure not, it's for fitting to rearsets (See below). Sorry for confusion.

Sorry, that was me muddying the waters
I can't remember what year 'blade I've seen used, just that various people have substituted ones from other makes of bike to good effect. Fortunately I'm one the few who seem to have a properly working rear brake so I've never had to consider changing it. I'm sure the 1098 duc fitment has been used so that might provide a cross reference. There used to be a section devoted to alternative parts from other makes on one of the forums but I can't remember where I've seen it atm. |

Should be fine Rich. This would help me out as im after a v4 unit as a neater solution on the ap rearsets not a fan of the ( HRC ) bendy tube option so i haven't fitted them properly yet. All working and leak free.

Hi Badapple, I called AP and they said gen2 rear m/c will fit. Not sure if I need to alter hoses, but if she works ok, how much are you after?
Many thanks Rich
