it appears that the new RS-GP has a rear brake set-up not to dissimilar to the arrangement on the gen1 RSVs

From the little I can see it looks like the MC is vertical in front of the main frame spar. So instead of the back of the lever pushing the M/C, the front is so they can relocate it centrally.

Yes because they look at an 20 year old design and think "Ooh that worked really well lets put in on latest MotoGp bike"....

Scott Reddings ape doesn't stay running long enough to need brakes so it's all irrelevant. It made all of 30 feet from the pits at the last test before stopping. Good old Louigi, about to destroy another career

Dunno, I just saw a facebook thing saying his bike stopped 30 feet from the pits and a video of him getting off it.

Either way, it's a poison chalice and will end his motogp career (if it wasn't already). He didn't have a lot of options but if he thought this would enhance his long term future in Motogp, I think he will find he was mistaken fairly quickly.

no matter how sh*te the bike is in comparison to the rest of the field it is absolutely gorgeous. I'd give one of my knackers to get the chance to have a weekend at donny on one of those.
