There's a couple of sets on ebay from a seller called kingexotic, £920 inc postage per pair. A bit pricey but they don't come cheap second-hand. I bought a replacement Aprilia Racing carbon front mudguard off him for my 03R that was in superb condition

Be careful with Kingexotic. That particular Polish gentleman advertises lots of Ducati parts and no one on the Ducati forum will touch him with a barge pole anymore. Falsely described parts as carbon when they are plastic, or immaculate when it's scabby or not even from the model claimed etc etc.

Thabks for the info Spoons, they're far to expensive anyway I've seen them cheaper in the past and would hold out till another set came up from a private seller & fingers crossed that maybe the case. |

Interesting information, thanks. Looks like I got lucky as I received the exact part I needed in excellent condition as he described.

Maybe he doesn't like Ducati owners. He has had about 3 Ebay persona's over the last couple of years and changes when the feedback gets not so good. Have a read if you get bored. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/elite-superbikes-where-has-he-gone.42435/ |

Bought a Tuono headlight off him last year. It was described as VGC but to be honest it had more scratches on it then I was expecting. I didnt pay too much, so didnt kick up a fuss. I've noticed he's had lots of different ebay usernames within the last 12 months which sets alarm bells ringing.
Also he's going for top dollar and just relists it if no buyers are interested. Occasionally he drops the prices but not often. I once bid on an item I would've expected to win as it had no previous bids and had been listed a few times. I got "out bid" at the last minute for a stupid amount. So I suspect he doesnt let things go cheap. Got no proof of him shill biding the price up tho. I've seen OZ go on here for £500 ish, so he's dreaming at that price.

No smoke without fire. Definitely seems like I was lucky, but I wouldn't chance it again unless I was desperate!

He's a 40 minutes drive from where I live so I'd gladly nip over if anyone was thinking about spending lots on parts etc.

He has some tasty systems for sale but 1100 seems crazy....Maybe I just don't know what they are worth?

I got my OZ from Griff at AP. They were 550 plus post. Fair price, doubt you'll find cheaper than 5 or 6.
Steer clear of that Ebay seller. He had something rare I was fleetingly interested in. He said it was mint and raved on about it. I got him to send me some close up pictures. Lets say it was rare, in the sense that it was rare to find anything as **** as that, described as mint nowadays. Top dollar too. |
