Hi guys, picked up my new RF last week and really love it.
Owned a Panigale 959 and a Fireblade before.

The RF is so smooth and the riding position much better compared to the 959. The only issue so far is that I got two times a kind of false neutral. This was a strange experience as I was accelerating in first gear to make speed. I think I did not touch the shifter and still the bike all of a sudden got into neutral...

Anyone had this experience with the new 2017 RF?

Thanks guys, any advise is welcome!

Aprilia Gearboxes need a "good Toe" to ensure selection  - ( especially in the GEN 2 RSVR's )  once you remember this  you will not miss a gear after that .

Positive selection rather than "flapping a foot for a gear " works every time  -  welcome to the friendliest forum on the net By the way !

Thanks guys!
Not sure what a 'good Toe' means, but will find out hopefully in a positive way :-)

It means don't be subtle with the gear selection, make a positive shift.
