    Posted: 21 Sep 2017 at 12:55

Hi All,

Time for a change, so up for sale is my 2002 Aprilia RSVR.

Ohlins forks, shock and damper. Brembo brakes and Oz wheels.

     MOT - April `18 / Mileage 23,969 / Datatagged. Owned since Jan `15.

Serviced in Feb `16 by Aprilia Performance which included new fork and dust seals, steering head bearings, suspension set up and throttle bodies balanced. The Ohlins damper was serviced not long after by Revs Suspension. In addition I have fitted - Forza FR200 chip, Evo Airbox , K&N filter, modded collector, Akrapovic end can with 60mm link pipe, R&G bar ends and OE grips. Earlier this year I serviced the suspension linkage with new bearings and spookys plastic washers, fitted Renthal sprockets 15 / 42 and SBS Racing Sinter pads front and rear. Pirelli Supercorsas fitted for MOT and have only done 500 miles.

Mechanically sound, no electrical / starting issues, rides super smooth.

Cosmetically in good condition for year but does have a few chips and scratches. The plastic tank has a few marks at the front were it bolts to frame as it has the common problem of swelling ( I did take it off over the winter but it didn`t make much difference), the seat has a small tear, fork bottoms could do with a respray, indicators are gash but never got round to replacing them.
Have lots more detailed pics I can send. Also have original end can, pillion pad, rear footrest, bar ends, spare mirror, rear subframe , Haynes manual and Abba stand adaptors included.

Priced to sell £2500 - no offers thanks

     Cheers - Mark

Nothing beats the puke yellow (fastest and I have a 2001 rsvr )

Great value, and better than the useless gen2 with their alternator/electrics/stupid canbus design....

A definite bargain. It's the same year but the colour I nearly chose over the Diablo Black I finally settled on when I bought mine. If I had the money I would get it as a spare!

Yellow does grow on you and I prefer it over the black just because you don't see so many about. Oh, and yes it's true, yellow is faster

Totally disagree
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

I suggested this bike to my mate who's on the lookout but he's not interested. It's very cheap that's for sure.

Been looking for a black 02 or 03 R for ages. This looks like such a good deal though if I could just get my head round the yellow!

If you haven't seen a yellow one up close, go see it. I wanted a black one but a yellow came up for sale too close to me to ignore. As soon as it was wheeled out into the sunshine it was coming home. The yellow is stunning if a little flamboyant. But then they aren't exactly subtle bikes anyway.

You aren't alone. That's why they ground him into little flakes. The fact he makes paint sparkle in the light is purely coincidental. According to US tuner websites, the next big thing is going to be Bieberescent paint.

Yes the tiny speckles are brilliant lol. However most waxes seem to hide the sparkles. I've tried lots to bring out the finish, at the moment the best I have found is glass cleaner with no wax.

Black is boring , even sh*thonda's have it.....

Diamond White Glaze clear polish followed up with Natty's paste wax also in white. It's actually tintless rather than white. As an added bonus, your bike will smell like a Pina colada when you're done.
