hi - anyone else had problems with this type alarm imobiliser?

bike 05 Tuono factory and the alarm arms up and turns off all correct but (suspect) imobiliser is still working as engine will not run.

all was fine till i disconnected the battery with alarm in service mode re connecting some optimate leads.  battery is good over 12 volts on meter and bike was perfect before this work.

any advice or steer on good mobile tech?

hi all,

found this advice on a datatool linked site where fellow rsvr 2004 owner was having problems with his idle linked to the system 3 and was advised it was an alarm gremlin:

press the round button of the key fob (just to turn alarm off) - turn on ignition - press and hold the round button until you hear a beep and release button (i know this puts the system into service/valet mode andy c) - press and hold the round button until you hear a beep and release button - press and hold the button until you hear a beep and release button - turn the ignition off and back on and then start the bike.

this worked for the rsvr probs and wow can confirm it has also sorted my probs!

bike started first time - whilst running it was still giving out the 15 sec service/valet beep - so after warm up i turned her off let the system arm itself and then disarmed and started as normal - everything worked fine!

a very happy man Smile
