Started in For Sale from the original thread from technical section.
Uprated suspension link plates for Gen 2 as shown below next to original Aprilia part.
Made from T6082 T6 aluminium alloy which is stronger and supersedes T6061 that the AF1 plates are made from. Natural hard anodised finish.
Price for a set of plates is £24 + £2 p&p
Also shown custom made PTFE Teflon shim washers for the dog bone and swingarm bearings for both Gen1 and Gen2. These take out the end float which causes the plates to rub against the dog bone, they also help keep road crap away from the bearings.
Price is 90p each + £1.00 p&p (postage covers up to 6 washers)
Washers ordered with plates will be covered in the plate p&p
Crappy Bit :
If you decide to fit these plates you do so at your own risk. I accept no responsibility for any damage or failure to any component of the rear suspension and / or any other part of your motorcycle, before or after fitment.
Fitting of these plates does not negate the individuals responsibilities and needs to maintain all bearings within the whole of the rear suspension setup. These bearings should be inspected, serviced and greased at regular intervals.

No you can't you pikey manc
Only joking or am I ? You know my big red lifter is yours should you need it big boy. Just a word of warning on this, if you change the plates or just fit the washers be prepared for the replacement of the needle roller bearings in the dog bone and swingarm. You might not think that you will need them but I've just finished one tonight and the bastard bearings where locked solid with rust and sh*te, 06 bike full service history ! ? ! ? Laters SPOOKY

Mine was an 07, 7000miles, full service, and I caught it before the rust got too bad to polish out.. JUST..
everyone attempting this should consider replacing the cheap shiz oil seals that protect the needle bearings. simply bearings, £1.89 each, needs 6. Pry out, press in with thumb.

Hi spooky. Can i order a set of plates and washers. I bought a 04 model about a mth ago, and noticed the lower rear needle bearing shagged, and the pin is only fit for the bin. Should have them sorted in the next day or two. Links plates scuffed so reckon ill change them. Let me no the payment details.
