Hi Ed,
I have a Gen 1 Mille track bike and a Gen 1 Colin Edwards replica. I do notice the snatchyness around town on the Eddy compared to the Mille. Is this something that your Eprom will solve? The Eddy is completely standard, fitted with the Race kit.

Received and fitted my Chip from Ed today ino the Eddy.
I have just come back from a blast on the bike to see what difference it has made. The chip has replaced the race edition Aprilia jobby that came with the bike. The bottom end low rev fuelling has been greatly improved with a much smoother take up of power at slow speeds and reduction in the snatchy feel whilst riding slowly, strangely it feels that the engine braking has been reduced but this may just be the way it comes off the throttle now. The midrange is silky smooth but I can't really say that there is a lot of difference as it was pretty good before. The top end is just a made rush to change gear before it hits the rev limit. All in all very pleased with the improvement for a poultry £45. Cheers Ed. |

I only wish I hadn't done the collector and the chip before I'd even ridden the bike so I could tell the improvement

Hi Ed, I'm planning some upgrades in the winter, and have started to collect a few goodies to get me started.
I've bought a modded collector, and a Pip werx exhaust. I'm in 2 minds what type of air box mod to go for, either the sealed type with the standard removed, or the open plate. If I bought one of your chips to compliment what I've bought so far, what air box mod would you recommend to match it? |

Yes
The PC3 thing works in 2 ways If you have gone to the trouble to have a custom map The EPROM will still give you advance ignition maps The PC 3 will always override the EPROMs fuel table Unless you either disconnect it or load a zero map If you have a PC3 with a downloaded map I advise disconnecting it if fitting the EPROM as the maps on the dynojet website are rubbish A PC 3 with advanced custom map is very good Bit this comes at a cost The PC3 cannot alter ignition Only the fuel table The EPROM can do both And is a fraction of the costs All depends on your mods and cash flow I have got fuel maps very close on the EPROMs That once setup the bike runs spot on |
