Hi budy, I've got my bike chipped already, I'm interested to know the difference really. There's ones on eBay for sale, £50 they are from Germany, looks the exact same chip.
If you don't get yours, have a look!

They are easy to fit,

static electricity can kill chips so ideally you need to ground yourself before you start, touch a water pipe or tap for example .

Remove ecu from bike
Remove cover from ecu
Observe orientation of current ecu
using a small flat blade screwdriver pry the existing chip out of the socket
insert new chip (observing orientation)
reinstall cover
fit ecu back to bike
start bike - go for a ride.

You will more than likely need to adjust the trim pots after fitting the chip. Having the throttle bodies sync'd when fitting one of these superb FR chips will bring out the best performance of it.

Griff usually keeps some at AP HQ, worth ringing the shop.

Or jump onto the Facebook AP page and Tag Ed Elliot in a post - that's Forza. Thumbs Up

I just want to say a massive thank you to ED
The man has been so impressive to deal with and so professional from me making contact with him and chatting about my mods future plans and what I needed to get the best from what I have
So after a little chatting the fr200 chip was the best to suit me and my application. Easy fast and simple transaction! (Just how I like it)
Couple of days later my chip arrived.
I whipped the eddy Ecu out and opened it up to find it didn't have an eddy chip but had already been replaced with an fr100 chip!
Needless to say I ripped that out and inserted my new shiny fr200 chip. Gave the bike a polish and went to bed lol.
Got out on it this morning...
Just wow, instantly I could tell the difference on pulling off my drive and down the road, the bike is silky smooth low down from idle, before it was "lumpy or fluffy" however you may choose to describe it lol.
But now it's just so rideable from no revs at all. The power and torque from idle on wards now has no longer got the empty gap it had before between 4-6k. I'm astonished at how linear the powerband is, it's responsive in any gear, at any speed, at any revs! A massive thumbs up to Ed and I seriously erge people to go out mod a little and get in touch with Ed at forza aprilia racing!
