Hi,
Has anyone got a guide or tips for the removal of a rear shock on a 2019 V4 RR?
Thanks.

Hi

What you decide to do with it - upgrade or just rebuild ?

Abba stand and rear exhaust off including the link pipe, then it’s only two nuts and bolts off and it’s out.
Taking rear wheel off also allows the swingarm a greater range of movement to take shock out.

That’s about all I can think of looking at mine

I found a NOS (new old stock) Ohlins on eBay which was about half price over new.
I don't own an Abba stand so might have to improvise!? :-)

If you have solid pegs fitted you can use axle stands under them, if they’re flip up pegs rotate then upside down and axle stands under them or a bar through the hollow swingarm pivot and stands.

That's what I do. Some people ratchet strap under the tail up to the rafters.

On my Street Triple I use a car jack on the swing arm to lift uo the seat unit but the Aprilla is an unknown to me so I want to do it safely.
