Would the rear shock be a direct fit on to my 2002 standard Mille?

Shock is unavailable at the moment I'm afraid sorry. I believe it would be a straight swap but perhaps ask in another section and someone will know for sure. Since removal I have found some damage so not happy to sell it currently until repaired.

Thanks for the info Cheesy. Badapple, I'll keep and eye out for you selling in the future - not something I have as a 'must have', but as it came up for sale... |

Definitely!
The dog bone bearings are actually ok, plenty of grease in them, glad I checked though!

I always give the adjuster a liberal spray of something like ACF50 to try to avoid that kinda thing.
Age and fatigue is going to take its toil on these units I’ve had a few rebuilt over last few years, I think five units maybe and I think next time I may just get a new Maxton or Niton unit perhaps |

Mate thats exactly what has happened to the one I have hence not for sale was looking into seeing if it could be repaired as that part threads into the body but I'm flat out on a massive garden project. Do you still need the linkage got it on the bench ready to clean and grease up?

The linkage was actually OK on this so I dont need one now. Odd though because I was expecting the bearings to be the cause of this but the bearings had plenty of grease in them and were moving freely.

Have you still got the dogbone? I took mine off to replace the bearings, and it has a couple of cracks in it! I'll be replacing the bearings, so all it has to be is undamaged. |
