CST Adreno.
I wanted to do this, because i was curious. And since there was no review to find. And they are chinese. And chinese stuff often get a bad reputation. So you i just had to try.

Well got this tire dirt cheap, and will be doing a review.
I am a Metzeler guy. So i will be focusing on grip and handling, not so much milage. Because they are cheap.

First impression drive to work, grip from 0km no, worries.
Steering is nice, and bumps and so, get damped out nicely.

Will be reporting more back to you guys.

Dont know if you guys have any interest in this, but please let me know if you do.

Took the long way home from work yesterday 3degrees celscius so not to warm. Across the two world halfs. Yes it is true i can drive from one continent to another in 30sec.
Just going across the tectonic plates.LOL

Well the road is 50km ca. And with lots of tight bends and long sweeping corners, bumps and well just  about anything you can throw at a tyre.

The tyre warms up fast, has good grip all the way to the edge,(street riding) It does not feel unstable or soft when pushed.
Braking in to corners, it is trust building. No aha moments.
It reminds me a little of the old MEZ3Racing from Metzeler, back in the day, wich was a really good tyre, for street and track, used to ride the track when i was younger, with a Tl1000s so tourqe wise we are not comparing apples to oranges. I have to say they did something right with this tyre. It sticks real good, holds heat real well.

Emergency braking from 120km/h, stable no loosing grip and stiff.
Highway speed 170km/h stable and good, (closed private road offcourse)

Still have to test it on race track and in the rain.

So far so good. And so far i would recommend this for street use.

Drove 300kms today, and tire is performing very well.
Turns in nicely and obeys every command, braking in corners no problems. So thats it, until rain testing..

Any body thinking, or getting some may be, thoughts. About trying this tire? Reason i am asking, is because it seems like a very good budget tire. And people should really not be scared away by that it is chinese.
I still have to do the wet/rain test, but you get my drift.
I dont sell these, but it is nice to have. A cheaper choice that does not suck, or turn out bad. So we will see.

Thanks guys.

Ps. Would be fun if someone, ride the sh*te out of these on the track.
I don't race anymore, so can not try them that hard.

But do they contain Covid-19?   LOL

Seriously though, governments and individuals are likely to to be looking more closely at supply chains and sourcing in future. Yes we all want cheap goods but one thing this current situation has taught us is that having single source, just in time supply chains will fail us when it really matters.

Out riding now...
Sitting on a cafe at GEYSIR. More heat out side, NO traffic 😁
Thats what i call, top notch tire test on the street.

I am really really impressed with CST ADRENO.
Gives me feedback on everything going on underneath me.
Sticks like bubblegum, the more the outside temprature increases.
Gives me more and more confidence. Leaning more, as i get used
to bike and tires. The tires swallows road cracks and bumps, like
it's paid to do so.

I Efffin love this bike. Mi amore.

Sun's out Gun's out, or was it Bike's out....

Well lunch done. Coffee done, report back to you guys done.
Im off into the corners....😉

Nice pics, really makes me miss riding

As for the tyres,I'm not totally anti Chinese as I'm using their control levers, race radiator and no doubt other bits and bobs somewhere, but there's something about Chinese tyres I just can't get my head round.

CST being Chen Shin Tyres who are also Maxxi and makers of millions of bicycle tyres must know a fair bit about making them by now.

Fair play to you for trying them in the first place,I watch with interest although I doubt I'd ever be tempted as there are so many other more established brands to choose from that are proven at the highest level, and after all this is an 'it's all in your head' confidence thing

Unfair I know, and I can recall having Bridgestone tyres in the distant past as OEM and they were lethal, nasty, hard plastic things only useful for stopping the rims getting scuffed on the ground.

I swear by the brand now Embarrassed  Love the RS10's although they wore out quickly on the Mille, and I'm going to replace my part worn SportSmarts on the Tuono for a set of S22's in the near future.

Perhaps Chinese tyres could be a coming thing? who knew Chinese Bat Flu would take over so quickly? Confused

And although back on the Italian stock exchange now the largest stake in Pirelli is still held by the Chinese.

That's the thing isn't it? For years now the Chinese have been cash rich and buying into myriad interests around the world, what better way to learn industrial secrets and advance knowledge?

Saves all the spying scandals and totally upfront and above board

Never thought I'd live to see the day I'd voluntarily buy Japanese tyres so there could come the day that China leads the world

I'm intrigued now, just found another review so it'd be interesting to see if this one agrees across the board ,although different styles of bikes probably show up different issues.

My rear is deffinetly square, like he writes.
Mine says adreno sport.
But mostly doing this, so i can have a cheap good choice.
Motorcycle tires, are awsome expensive here in Iceland.
