No idea what black lines is on about as no one has ever been banned re premium membership cancellation
Re subscription, we don’t take it from you, your account sends it to us, it’s a push not a pull service. Hence you are entirely in control of whether to cancel it or not at any time in the recurring payments section of your PayPal account. it’s on the premium sign up web page that if you only want a single payment then to cancel it or it will repeat annually

I’ll have a look and see if I can cancel it. Not fussed about a ban for asking a perfectly decent question. Just a bit miffed that it’s been taken when I don’t use the site

The assumption was that the text re cancelling would be spotted at the point of sign up. There is no intention to deceive anyone.
Not a problem to refund your £5 though, what name is on the PayPal account it came from ?

Leave it with me, it might be a few days as I’m in hospital in France. The mobile PayPal app on my phone doesn’t have the option for refunds so as soon as I have access to a pc I’ll sort it.

Yes to both. Had to be economical with the truth with police in case they charged him with something. I don’t think they really believed us but without me saying otherwise there was no evidence.

Not 100% sure what happens in uk. Just saw my medical report to insurers which suggests I have to have a new plaster on return as this one is temporary post op and then my blood pressure monitored ( it’s been low consistently ) and anti clotting injections for 6 weeks. Whether that will be at home I’m not sure.

I hope you and the bike get back home ok Did you run into any brexit related complications with the medical side of things? One hears rumours about people being marched to a cash machine before any treatment |

No everything has been great, can’t fault the hospital. They used the EHIC card to pay for 80% of my care and med insurance is paying the rest and flights etc. The fire crew (dual responders) even have my bike in their station to keep it safe until the rac get their act together. I’ve heard of speeding fines being extracted instantly but not medical stuff. With my accident and a friends more minor one a few years back my experience of the French system has been great.
