My friend Eric the blade has given up biking at the age of 76, he offered me his gixxer k7 1000 with akra system, mudguard and hugger with a pc on it pushing 176bhp for £3500, couldn't say no.

Yep, my mate is 74 and a few months ago traded his Diavel for an S1000R and has become a born again hooligan! He's been riding since he was a kid and is still as quick as most but not idiotically so if you know what I mean.

Nice one Hemi, what a bike for that money Cool

I can't help thinking that with the exotic and growing collection you have, that you must be getting short on space. As a friend it's only right for me to offer some space for a few of your bikes here.
There's no need to thank me, I'll help if I can Thumbs Up
Question everything.

Thanks rick but thankfully I have a 40ft shipping container for overspill parking, it's a shame about Ekker but his health is preventing him from riding superbikes but he might get something less extreme, he was nearly weeping as I loaded it in the van.

Yes sorry, lovely bike. As Diablo says, it's only fair for you to share them around a little as they need to get used.

hemi.....your mate Eric deserves an award for keeping the faith to that age.
Especially for riding the Gixer.

Ask him not to stop riding please.....we need his generation to stick it to the hipster, angle grinder sparked, lifestyle obsessed, exhaust wrapped, piss coloured headlight bike riding t**sers.

Suggest a nice single cyl Katoom......you know it makes sense...Wink

He was mentioning a speed triple before I left, he's been an industrial sparky all his life and his knees are shot, he has trouble lifting his feet up onto the pegs now on a superbike, I asked him if he wanted to buy my multistrada but he struggles to swing his leg over the high seat.

Hahahaaaa....hipsters....lol.
An observation. They've shifted up the price of old sh!tters, and systematically cut up and ruined more potential classics than you can shake a stick at. They're unaware of the real cafe (pronounced Kaff....NOT kaffay) racer culture they try to ape. The majority rarely get further than their local Starbucks...and then it's to hook up to the free WiFi to update their Instagram/Facebook profiles....nearly always self publicising....Brown seats, race boards.....I could go on....lol

And nope, wasn't bullied at school.

Of course I have strangler. I think most folk have these days.
But I don't self publicsise myself, I'm not obsessed by selfies, nor do I try to become a media influencer....I prefer to just ride bikes.

Sorry Hemi....didn't mean to hijack.

Now this "wifi" thing, been trying to decode what it means... "will I f (confused bit) Iguanas" is all I've come up with. Ouch

Tbh, I just love a cuppa tea...

Fitted some robbymoto higher clipons with some brembo rcs master cylinders and brembo m4 calipers, messing about fitting the rizoma res pots and brackets and decided to clamp them to the forks as they are then we’ll out of the way.

Bought a second hand Penske shock off of a guy in Poland, it has been fully serviced and comes with a couple of extra springs, turns out Penske uk is only a few miles from me and Griff in Tamworth.
