Had a lovely run down to see the folks on the Isle of Wight today, went via Aprilia Performance for a few bits for a service, all is good. However, on the A5 leaving Tamworth, a lovely bit of unsighted wood of about the size of a brick meant I got some 2 wheeled air at 70, quite the experience! However, 150miles later, someone pointed out I've bent the front rim. Seeing as I didn't notice anything and it's not loosing pressure or causing anything untoward feeling wise (though motorways and slip roads aren't the same test as a bendy road) I'm not gonna go crazy take a hammer to it tonight!
Anyway, has anyone got any recommendations for wheel repair? I'm gonna call a couple of places soon that could be en route back towards Leicestershire to see if there's a roll in roll out repair. But looking at the costs, it may not be dissimilar to a wheel. So as a second question, if anyone has any spare front wheels for sets of posher ones for a Gen2 Tuono, do say. Currently got stock cast wheels in black.
Any notes most appreciated.

Ouch Ouch   I'd wonder about tyre damage as well after an impact like that

Must have been quite an interesting few seconds Confused

Good luck with a wheel, there should be plenty of gen2 alikes out there if not genuine Oz

Yeah, fortunately I was looking to replace these tyres this month anyway as these are near their end.

Certainly was a weird one, the off-roading I did last week kept the loose feeling fresh in mind!

I have looked at some OZ's. Is there anything to watch out before buying some or just any Gen2 wheel, RSVR or Tuono, will be alright?

ouch that must of been a hell of a whack!
As far as the replacement goes any Gen2 will work fine. If you can afford OZ they are a great upgrade just be careful of the later look a like wheels. If they are real OZ it will be stamped on them.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

Cheers chaps. I've found a list on Fowlers on other wheels that'll fit. I've looked for some upgraded wheels but can't find any pairs on eBay used at the moment.
Cheers for the Maidstone shout, may do that next week if I can't find other wheels to take my fancy...

second vote for Maidstone motoliner.

They have straightened two forged wheels for me so far. I know someone with a pair of cast wheels in red the same as yours he wishes to sell if you are stuck

Cool, that's a good repair option. Still hasn't lost pressure so repairs sound fesable. By all means, if you've got a price of the red wheels do share, it'll be another option to consider!

All fixed! ST Motorcycles in Grantham sorted it out with very minimal coating loss, more like a scratch than anything. Nothing a touch up paint wont solve (unless I got for an orange pin stripe or something, hmm) Very helpful chap, I rocked up on Saturday with the wheel, tyre and discs still on and he fixed it in about 2:30hrs for much less than a new wheel cost.
Many thanks for the help and suggestions.
