What are the indications they are fake?
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

Why wait Jimbo?
Report to ebay immediately, and name and shame also to avoid other forum users making the same error.

How to spot NGK fakes

Also fakes are more common on the more exotic higher priced plugs.

there are several give aways, quality of thread, colour of plating on the plug, missing numbers and apparently the ngk logo should be square to one of the six hexagonal flats.I have emailed ngk who suggested I post them to them.they also said if it takes a while they will supply a set to me!.Will update when I find out.

I know it's wrong to generalise but I do believe you should treat quite a lot of kit bought via ebay as suspect.

I try to go by the old thing about 'if it seems too good to be true' then it probably is.

At least try and buy from a known business that you can contact away from ebay
www.apworkshops.co.uk
www.apriliaforum.co.uk
www.apriliaownersclub.co.uk

Looking forward to the next track day

I completely agree. I buy a lot on ebay but I have completely stopped buying anything from there that needs to be functional/reliable or even remotely safety related.
