I'm about to throw my toys, is there a cheats method to tuning a Gen 1 tuono. I've downloaded various methods and it worked last time, but today. I just could not get my bike running correctly. I've got both a standard chip and a FR100 and neither is cooperating. At present the standard chip is in. Just to get it going.

I think 12 O'clock for both trim pots is the recommended starting point but you really need to get the TB balanced properly. You are just a little too far away from AP is there anyone near you with the correct equipment?

Set the bypass screw and leave them, adjust via trim pots in future. The bypass are set at the factory and generally left on a Gen1 unless Tb maintenance has been carried out.

But your still pissing in the wind to be honest. I've personally never had a Gen1 fuel correctly with trim pots at 12 o'clock. Why ?

Because the rear cylinder generally wants to run a bit richer than the front. My Gen1 has the rear cylinder trim pot at 2 o'clock for example. And the trim pots are sensitive enough that 1mm turn could equate to 1% CO.  So your chances of being accurate without a readout are almost 0.
