Thanks Spoonz, did drop down a size on the rear to a 190 rosso corsa 2's, will give the sensors a wipe just incase, when I check the encoder ring for run out. It is a strange issue as traction control and abs work perfectly, and the dealer diagnostics reported no issues.

unless it's an odd tyre combo that is out of calibration range, I can only think that the sensor is not getting an accurate reading from the encoder ring etc. Might be worth wiping over the sensor as well as checking the ring itself.

When the calibration is done the warning ATC calibration on the dash is supposed to disappear, which it does not, I did try switching off and waiting after riding for about a minute at both 25mph and 40kmph, yes I even changed to km's to be more accurate.

Hi
Spoony asked if you switched it on and off again after the re-calibration. Did you do this? I re-calibrated mine after changing tyre sizes and rear sprocket size and it was a doddle.

Dealer checked all the obvious culprits and said no errors from any sensors PADS not picking up any faults or errors.

Check the encoder ring didn't get tweaked when you had the wheel out too. Like Abs rings they are highly sensitive to any run out.

As i understand it after riding in calibration mode, you then have to turn off the ignition and then turn it on again and manually re select an atc mode and level to turn off the light. I don't think the dash gives any kind of direct confirmation that it has calibrated but if it lets you select a mode after the off /on then it has calibrated.

Did it say calibration failed or are you assuming it did because the TC is off ?

Just had new tyres fitted on 2017Tuono V4 and tried to run the traction control calibration.Just couldn't get it to work, even tried changing to Km/h to ride at 40km/h. No joy took it to the local dealer he tried no luck. He then connected to PAD's found no errors all sensors working updated to latest maps still won't work. Anybody got any more suggestions.
