Hi guys

The air temp sensor in the left air intake -is it totally necessary for it to be inside the intake itself, or could it be relocated somewhere to the front of the bike, out of the sun, and still receiving unrestricted air blast?
Question everything.

The connectors on it are very un waterproof but in theory you can put it wherever you want as long as it's measuring air temp away from other influences like engine or rad heat etc.

I'm quite brave Mark, remember I had to cut my cf belly pan for the 2:2 and drill the side fairings and upper cowl etc.... LOL

Mari can get her had inside the intake and also nearly through the frame for the bolt on the inside. What did you do?

Also, did you put a rubber gasket/seal where the intake bolts to the frame? I don't want any precious air escaping, as I'm planning on changing the Hooked airkit and going to a Smaltmoto airbox, or the one from the guy that's taken over MSS

I shall look at possibly doing what you say tomorrow though mate. Got everything apart and fitting the parts you know that I got. Lots of them Cool
Question everything.
