Hey everyone, hope the summer comes soon and waste some tires :)
I have done a modded collector on a RSV-R 2002, but it seems like im losing a lot of power at the low end..up to 4k rpm. the only power increase i feel is around 5-8k rpm..
Anybody here who knows if there is a point in the upper connecting pipe (shorter one) ?
Cheers

what diameter pipe did you use

Google redratbike modded collector there is a dyno chart with 3 lines on

Standard ,front only ,front and rear check it out

If your pipe is too big you’ll lose low end power

yes buy one of mine and measure

Have you upgraded the eprom to suit the new fuelling requirements?

Can't say your modded pipes look much different in size to the one I got from Mark...although his look a lot more professionally done.
As he says, what chip are you running with?
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

Custom eprom, made on a dyno, but now we have to re-map it :)

you’ll find a big hole in the fuelling owing to the collector
