[QUOTE=Spoonz]Sounds like a Sachs shock from a Gen2 rsv has been fitted. Fairly sure the Tuono shock only had rebound damping adjustment so it was often upgraded when it got tired.
The base settings for it on an Rsv are rebound 20 clicks out and comp 1.5 turns out from fully in. [/Quote checked it at 1 3/4 for compression and 55 clicks out on rebound. So there is something different about this shock compared to standard .

Hi,
what are the standard rear suspensions settings for the 2005 gen 1 tuono. I've downloaded several manuals and my rear shock is different to those shown. i have a screw adjuster for the compression at the top, versus the dial that clicks shown in the pictures. but the rebound adjustment is the same dial as shown in the manuals. what I want is the base line settings so I can where I have adjusted mine to from the standard, as I'm running a bit blind with how I've set it up at present. What I've set it too, is 1 3/4 turns out, with the rebound adjusted to match...(the bounce test method) Preload is fine. the front is sorted. only the rear is unknown,, well not really but I'd like to know more. thanks Dennis.
